Wedge Meters

Wedge meters are differential pressure meters used on different process applications. They are particularly suggested with very viscous liquids and slurries. The wedge design is resistant to wear and erosion, this makes these meter a good solution for cost saving installation. Due to viscous nature of fluids, wedge meters are particularly indicated for accurate ϐlow measurements of low Reynolds Numbers and low permanent pressure loss requirements.

The design of the wedge meter allows bi-directional measurement, differentiating it from other ϐlow meters.
