Cone Meters

Cone meters are known as the ideal solution for applications with limited mounting space. The principle of the method of measurement is based on the installation of the cone meter into a pipeline in which a fluid is running full. Flow through a cone meter produces a differential pressure between the upstream and downstream tappings.

One of the biggest benefit of these devices is that, due to the cone profile, they require very little upstream and downstream straight pipework in order to provide accurate measurements. In addition to that, the cone element design allows for long service life with low maintenance. General Vessels designs its own Cone meters in accordance to the recent standard ISO 5167-5.
